VFL – Main Draw (AGCO License: RAF1368881)

The Vacation Fantasy Lottery (VFL) is a project of the Kitchener Westmount Rotary Club. The lottery license holder is the Kitchener Westmount Rotary Charitable Foundation.

Eligibility

  1. Ticket purchasers must be 18 years or older to enter the Vacation Fantasy Lottery (the “VFL Lottery”).
  2. Ticket purchasers must be located in Ontario at the time of purchase.
  3. The following persons are prohibited from purchasing tickets in the VFL Lottery:
    • members of the Board of Directors of the Kitchener- Westmount Rotary Club Foundation (the “Board”);
    • members of the operating committee for the VFL Lottery

Ticket Sales

  1. Tickets must be purchased in the province of Ontario.
  2. Tickets can be purchased exclusively online here, at www.kwvfl.ca, using the purchase tickets buttons.
  3. Ticket prices are 1 for $10, 4 for $20, 20 for $50, 100 for $100.
  4. Limit of 176,550 tickets available.
  5. All tickets are delivered via email. It is the responsibility of the ticket purchaser to ensure that they receive their tickets. Purchasers do not need their tickets in hand to be included in a draw. If you do not receive your ticket(s), please fill out our form.

Draws, Prizes and Winners

  1. After buying online, ticket purchasers will be provided by email, a receipt with their VFL registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly. Please ensure that a valid email address is provided to receive your electronic ticket.
  2. Tickets are available for purchase as follows:

    Lottery Ticket sales to begin at 10:00 a.m. on March 27, 2024.
    Deadlines for the Draw are as follows:

    • Final Ticket Sales will end on Tuesday May 14, 2024 at 11:59PM
    • Final Draw will take place on Wednesday May 15, 2024, at 11:00 AM for all 5 prizes.
  3. The winning ticket numbers will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system (provided by Rafflebox) from all lottery numbers sold for the draw and the winner will be contacted by phone/email.
  4. The winning ticket number will be posted here, at www.kwvfl.ca, within 5 business days following the final draws. Winners will also be contacted by phone or notified by email.
  5. Ticket holders do not have to be present at a draw in order to win or to claim their prize.
  6. Prizes will be secured for a period of six (6) months following the final draw. Unclaimed prizes will be reported to, and a charitable allocation will be approved by, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
  7. The winner must provide photo identification verifying their full name, address and date of birth upon claiming their prize.

General

  1. By purchasing a ticket in the VFL Lottery, the purchaser acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these rules. All inquiries regarding the conduct, chance of winning, prizing or lottery procedures are to be made prior to the purchase of a ticket by filling out our form.
  2. All ticket orders will be processed and fulfilled using the Rafflebox lottery management system. In the event of any discrepancy, the records of Rafflebox shall be deemed correct and final. Kitchener Westmount Rotary Charitable Foundation (the “Licensee”) is responsible for the conduct and management of the VFL Lottery. The liability of the Licensee shall be limited to the purchase price of the ticket.

Privacy

  1. By claiming a prize, winner consents to the use of their likeness/photograph, first and last name, ticket number, city/town of residence and any audio/video recording (or written transcription) of the winner notification telephone/video call, for any publicity purposes by the Licensee.
  2. The purchase of a ticket in the VFL Lottery is subject to the Privacy Policy of the Licensee. The Licensee respects the privacy of its VFL Lottery supporters; we do not sell, rent, or trade our supporter lists. The information collected is used to: process VFL Lottery ticket purchases; administer the VFL Lottery; keep our supporters informed about the activities of the Licensee (and its supporting Rotary Clubs); and ask for their support for our mission to support charitable causes.
